We had our back over hang redone and then added a porch to the front and I really feel like they were able to capture exactly what we wanted, made it beautiful, kept it in budget (we actually came in slightly under the quoted budget price) and kept to the agreed schedule!
It was overall such a lovely experience working with them. Personally, I have social anxiety and found all of the catalyst employees and the head of project so easy to talk to which is really valuable to me. If I had an issue, didn't like the way something looked or had a question about whatever, they replied promptly to emails, listened intently and would make any change needed to make sure my husband and I were completely happy with it.
Also, I have never seen a harder working crew. My gosh. Through any weather!
The project is done, looks amazing, our neighbours walking by constantly compliment it and we tell them if they want any projects done, this is the company to go with.
Good people who do good work. We will work with Catalyst for phase 2 of our renovation. So far they have done a complete basement renovation, including adding a bathroom, and complete upgrade of bathroom and one bedroom. Planning process was an excellent experience. People very easy to work with.

Catalyst just completed a major gut and rebuild of the second floor of my century home. This included rewiring of the entire home's electrical system, new insulation on the second floor, and new hardwood throughout the house. One of the existing bedrooms was transformed into a family bathroom and the existing bathroom was reconfigured as an en suite to an enlarged master bedroom. The project lasted 2.5 months, slightly longer than the estimated timeline of 2 months. This was justified, however, due to structural issues in the floor joists that were not visible until after demolition. Catalyst provided outstanding customer service. Andrew and Jamie were the my main contacts and both were kind, helpful and very professional. The project ended up being slightly over budget due to the structural issues and some asbestos and lead paint that needed to be abated. However, this was clearly discussed with me as a potential issue before demolition began. I recommend Catalyst without hesitation.

We have had Catalyst General Contracting in to do the framing and other work for our separate three car garage, which is 27′ x 36′. Brady and Andrew did an excellent job. Everything was square and plumb, the job was done in the time they said it would and it came in right at the estimated price.
