Design and Build

If you can imagine it, we can build it.

Driven by your input, Catalyst will design the custom space you’ve always wanted!

For larger projects, we employ a design-build process that works very well for our customers.  In the case of an addition, garage-build, or a major renovation, it’s impossible to provide a quote without proper approved drawings. Through our design-build process, we will learn about your wants and needs for your project as well as the budget you’re working with.  From there, we will create drawings, specifications, and a firm quote to complete your vision!

Design Process

The design process for your renovation or addition starts with Catalyst gathering information from all parties involved with the project. We determine your wants, needs and your budget. Assessment of the current space to make sure we can achieve what you’re looking for. Our draftsman will take detailed dimensions of your space and define any structural requirements we will have to account for.

Decision Making / Options

With a first draft of your drawings completed, we will review them with you. Often there are two or more layout options to choose from. We will get feedback from you on the drawings, and revise them as required. Once drawings are finalized, we will begin making material selections with you – roofing, siding, windows, flooring, and so on. We can help with these decisions in order to come in on budget. After these specifications have been completed, we will be able to provide you with a firm quote to build your job!

If you love your home and your location but need extra space, an addition is a great way to add square footage.  Ranging from a one room addition, up to adding a full second floor - Catalyst has the experience and expertise to make your dreams your reality.  We will be with you from the design and planning stage, right up to handing over the key
